Should I use sand in my tank for my cory catfish?

Yes you can but it might make a mess in there. The best way to do this is before you put water in the aquarium as it's easier to place the sand in the correct place.

Good luck though, the cory's will love it!

They will certainly appreciate sand over gravel. They don't mind very small pea gravel but larger bits of gravel or sharp gravel can bother and even injure them.

Having sand will allow you to see their natural behaviour as they bulldoze their way through the surface of it looking for scraps of food.
