I'm having problems with my Nokia N85 (mainly with the music player). I thought maybe updating the software would help, but it says my software version (11.047.249.2) is up to date. Looking around the Internet, I'm pretty sure that this is because my network, Orange, won't approve the newer updates.
If I unlock my phone, will I be able to get the newer updates? Is unlocking my phone a good idea? And how should I do it? My phone is nearly a year old now so I don't think voiding the warranty would be a huge problem
