I have a friend who is a mechanic. He is also a racist. When he was on vacation I had to take my car to another garage in order to fix a problem with it. They decided to do an overhaul which costed a lot of money. My mechanic tells me they screwed me over, and that I should fight them on the extra costs they added on my bill. According to him it is just something garages do in order to earn extra money. Should I trust him even though I know he is a racist? The other garage I visited were also operated by white guys, so it's not a race related issue.
