Should i trade wii for ps3?

okay, so i just bought a 50inch samsung plasma. i dont have a dvd player. if i trade for ps3 ill be playing some so-so games with sweet graphics and have blueray. is it worth giving up the wii?

edit: its 20gb hard drive. the guy also is willing to trade xbox 360 premium with hdmi too.

if you get a PS3 for a wii and you dont have to give any cash I'd do it since buying another wii (if you ended up wanting one) would be cheaper than buying a PS3

You sir, are a moron. Nobody would offer a ps3 for a wii w/out also paying some. That's like saying, if you give me 250 dollars, i'll give you 650. (you also need an AV)

Do it... Wii is just a fad that will quickly pass. There is absolutely nothing to look forward on that system, and it doesn't support any kind of HD.

Theres nothing on PS3 right now, but when you look at the exclusive games that are coming, theres definately a lot more to look forward to than Wii: Metal gear solid 4, final fantasy xiii, devil may cry 4, gran turismo 5, God of War 3. You can only play those on PS3.

I think Wii offers better multi-player games (not online, but live) than PS3, but solo game play is far better on PS3

Shortly after getting my 50" Sammy I gave the PS3 a try. After beating Resistance, there was pretty much nothing else to do. Get a 360 and keep the Wii.
