Should I trade or refinance my Jeep Liberty 2006?

I'm paying for my car, which is a Jeep Liberty 2006. My monthly payments are 515 dollars. Do you think that I could trade for a cheaper one? I've noticed that new cars are cheaper than used cars. What are the benefits of trading my car for a new one that is cheaper? or should I just refinance it? I don't want payments this high, I've been paying this for 1 1/2 year.
 
if you trade in youll just be gtn deeper in a hole. 515 a month car payment?. shakes head. 8/.

you should have got a good pre owned. think what you could have had with what was paid on the overpriced car.
