Should I tell my dad that I messed my car up?

I'm pretty careful with my car. I drive a white avalon. My dad got it for me for Christmas and I really like it and it was nice that he got one for me. So today, I went sledding with some friends behind our Kroger grocery store because there's this huge hill that was wicked. Well, one of the transfer trucks that needed to get in the back parking lot was getting mad because all of our cars were in the way, so I got in mine to pull out and I didn't know if the truck was out of the way, so I kept going and people were in my way and I hit the curb and where my back tire is on the right, there's this piece of metal that got pushed forward and it's almost rubbing my tire. When I get on it to break, I can feel it rubbing against it. It's not that bad it just needs to be put back where it was before and I don't know if my dad will be mad if I tell him or not. I don't want to leave it like it is because I'm scared it might pop my tire. Should I tell him?

Why not try to get it fixed on your own say at Big Ten Tires or some place that does work. Pay for it - shouldn't be that expensive. Go by there ask them if they can fix it and how much. See if you can fix it without making a big deal with dad about it.

Tell your dad. But pay for the damage.

Be responsible and he'll respect you for that

When I was 21 I reversed my dads car into another one late at night. (it was a policemans daighters car which wasnt helpful! lol)
I stayed up all night dreading telling him, despite there being no damage to his car at all (plenty to the other one tho!)

When he woke, I told him & he was so cool... all he cared about was that I was ok. I was kinda shocked by his atiitude... all that worry for nothing!!

Just tell him. Im sure he'll be ok.
