Well, long story short. I was the former client of a prostitute. We have known each other for almost 4 weeks now. We developed a relationship. There are no transactions involved with us anymore. We have been kind of dating, but haven't really stated rather we are together or not. We hug and kiss whenever we say goodbye to each other though. Anyways. She went to jail for the weekend. I went to pick her up. She had nowhere to go really and no money. I was recently laid off from my job and unemployment checks are taking forever to come. Due to financial difficulties I have bad credit, so no credit card and no money at all. I live in a room in a shared house. I am on the right track though. As I do have a Bachelors degree from a technical college in electronics and can find a job that pays at least 18 an hour. I am also in pursuit of a real engineering degree from a university. But at the moment I picked her up from jail, I felt completely weak and powerless. I didn't have a dime. She could have made the decision to come home with me, but she was concerned about her best friend too who got released the same day. They ended up buying me something to eat, then they went with another guy that had the means to get them a place for the night. I felt so ridiculous and weak. I can either take it as humiliation or a test. I was so embarrassed though

She is a hooker, what do you expect? You should be humiliated your "girlfriend" is a hooker, not so much she and her friend bought you lunch and left with another man. Apparently, if she had no where to go, she's a homeless hooker. Get rid of her.

in four lonnnnnng weeks,, you made it to a relationship?,, wow, talk about not beating around the bush and just hit it at warp speed.,,, sorry dude, but women, ,are like the rest of the living things, we look for where there is a better chance of survival,,, so the other guy had something you could not offer, and so not a test and not humiliation, ,just that it was raining and you did not have an umbrella to keep the rain from raining on them and the other guy did. pretty simple ,, now, you are in a bad situation but you do have some potential,, so not to worry,, get a job and get an umbrella and then you can get her,,, those two to keep you company,,just take it as one of those tough humbling moments in your life, it happens,, Now they were glad you got them out of jail and were courteous enough to buy you dinner. OK so not all was lost. They will remember you as the one who got them out of the jam,, but there was more jam to go around with the other guy. security, comfort, no starvation, i think most living things, including those two women, well, they pretty much behaved like one would expect. So you said humiliation which was not, and I said,,,, humbling, not the same,, go ahead, look both of those two words in the Webster collection of words with their definitions.

dont take it as humiliation, take it as a sign.
A sign that you are on the right track, that you should continue on that track and work hard for what you want.
Feeling weak and helpless is a terrible feeling but if you work hard for what you want in life you wont have to feel that again.
