No way! Represent! If you take it off, it just makes it look like a kit car. Every time I see a sports car without an emblem, it just looks so cheap. Added that you'll have the mounting holes left on that spot. They'd need to be filled and repainted.
Leave it on and keep it polished. The only reason to take it off is if you're drag racing (dragging in an RX8? Please!).
