Should I take the ACT test?

I am in the 6th grade and I am considering taking the ACT test or the SAT test. First of all do you think that I should take one of them? and which one? Pros and Cons? I've already taken the EXPLORE test so I am qualified that and I get great grades on the IOWAS.
