I want to take pre-calculus at my school but to take it I must pass Math 240(Trigonometry) and I was told that its not required but recommened I take these corses before pre-calculus also.
I was told that I should take college algebra and Stats at the same time I take trig so I'll be better prepared for pre-cal.
Is it worth taking college algebra and Stats for pre-calculus? At my school College Algebra and Stats are both electives and not requirments for any math class. So I can just go to trig then stright to pre-calculus or spend a little more time take both those corses and then take pre-calculus.
So, does having college algebra and Stats help a lot for pre-calculus?
