I make a $1000 secure deposit that they hold onto a year as long as I commit to a one year plan. I have already signed two two year contracts over time with them. The account is under my name, but my dad's social. I have no credit and the past few clothing stores I applied to rejected my application over the years. I have been with AT&T for over five years without switching and they still want more money out of me. I have not made a late payment except early on when I didn't know it hurt my credit since they weren't taking out late fees.
I have had a great experience with AT&T and their customer service have always fixed problems I have had. Their service seems to be getting worse now and not much is stopping me from switching except the unlimited plan I have (this has been discontinued for new sign-ups).
What do you think?
I've never even had a credit card or a way to screw up my credit/build it so it doesn't exist. What happened to fifteen years ago when it was easy to get a card?
