I was in a car accident in 2006 and a lawyer told me that I had to go to the chiropractor. I told her that I wasn't going to do that, and she that she would pay for it. After we dropped the case, she did not pay the remaining bills.

A collection agency is now calling me, telling me that I have to pay the chiropractic bill. How do i get the lawyer to pay this bill?

It was a contract between the two of you. She said that she would pay. You have the right to file suit for breach of that contract.

I think you need to contact the Lawyer first. If the Attorney who handled your case is not the head of the firm you can talk to their boss. (so if the firm was Dewey, Cheatem and Howe, you need to talk to Dewey) If that does not yield anything you can contact the ABA and file a report.

Regardless of whether or not you can get her to pay you should try to start paying it off to protect your credit. Use a check so there is a paper trail and then get reimbursed by the Attorney.
