I'm taking the paint down to the metal on an old S-10 Tahoe. I want it to be cheery black and look decent. I'm thinking about taking it to Earl Schieb for a $250 final paint job. But I'd rather do it myself if I have to do the primer anyways. Any advice on making it look all one layer and glossy but not brushed or over painted, or mated down? Any advice on what primer to use?
