Should I see a financial advisor?

OK, I work full-time as a secretary, and make around $13 an hour. I have about $6000 saved up, but my money keeps disappearing. I seriously don't spend that much. I don't know where it's going! Could a financial advisor help me out? I'm aware that in my present situation, I'm not going to become a millionaire overnight, but I still would like to put away a little money so I can eventually own a condominium, etc.
 
Sounds like you might just have some budget issues. Consider using a "Cash Envelope System".

Find and read some of Dave Ramsey's books, they are very helpful if you have debt and want to become debt free.

If you do see a financial advisor, have in mind your future goals and they will help you begin the steps to get you there.
