Should i refuse the 3 hr Glucose Test?

With my 1st pregnancy i was diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes, I took the 1 hr and the 3 hr glucose screen. I was sent to a specialist, and i managed to keep my sugars in check through the remainder of the pregnancy. I actually delivered a 6 pounder via C- Section. Now im 32 weeks pregnant with my 2nd baby, and i failed the 1 hr glucose screen. I really dont want to go through the 3 hr glucose screen this time. I dont have the time, or the patience. Being that i was diagnosed with GB before i wonder if it would be ok to decline the test? I already know what i should and shouldnt eat. I know i need to check my sugars, etc. Cant my doctor just referr me to a specialist with out doing the lab? Im perplexed. I dont want to do it, should i refuse? and can i?
 
i would say exactly what you just told us

i think you have every right and if you show the dr that you know what choices are best for you then you should be able to convince the dr
