Should I re-paint my walls and re-decorate my bedroom?

I'm thinking about re-decorating/re-painting my bedroom. My favourite colours are green, blue, white and purple.

Currently, my walls are like this: light green wall, white wall, light green wall, white wall. I have a white cieling
My furnature is mainly pine-wood. My bed sheet is pale green, and my pillow cases + blanket are white with green plant designs on the bottom. My waredrobe + dresser are also pine wood, but have blue fronts (doors, front of the drawrs). My floor is light pine wood too.

I'm going to be getting rid of my floor soon, and putting down a carpet.

I was thinking about having my current white walls as a purple/violet colour, and my current light-green walls as a more... limey green colour. Would these colours match my furnature? (I don't really want to change the colour of my cieling, as i prefer white ^^)

So, do you think this would all look okay? (I could possibly buy some new furnature, but I may not be able to replace it all, I'm not rich xD)
 
i think your room would look really cute of you redecorate it :]] if you'd like, you could also put glow in the dark stars on your ceiling so that it won't look too dull.
