Should i put my Dreams on Hold while my man is at Boot camp for the Marines?

we been together for 10 months and 2 weeks he at boot camp and im out of school and i wanna do things to reach my goals and dreams should i put my life on hold and wait until i see him family day and graduation REALLY NEEDING good advice from people who actually have a heart
