should i put a turbo in my car?

i wanna get a civic si and i want to make it faster cause it only has 197-hp but i herd it was a never ending money pit
 
Why would you buy a $22k car and then go and buy a turbo? Why not buy a car that has something more than a 2.0L and puts out above 300 hp? How about you stay away from the ricers and get a used 05' GTO for like $16k which has a 6.0L that puts out 400 hp? Sorry, I just don't see your reasoning behind that.
