Should I pursue a Masters in Economics during a recession?

well if you go for it i would imagine ud be ahead of the pack and competition and since the economy isnt doing good wouldnt you be able to get a good loan.or would you get a bad loan policy since its doing so bad if its the 1st then it may be worth trying but if its the second it may be better wait not neccasarily till its over but atleast till where a little closer to the light at the end of tunnel
 
I am a school teacher with a Bachelors in Education and a Bsc in Management Studies. I am currently employed in a secondary school. Since my goal is to lecture at a university, I am contemplating on pursuing a Masters in Economics. My main question is should I take a loan in order to pursue this degree during the recession or should I wait untill its over as everyone has been advising me to do?
 
Honestly, if that is what you want to do, you should go for it. You shouldn't wait for the recession to end, because there is no way of knowing when this recession is going to end.

I don't know anything about loans and interest rates (if they are higher now, than in a few years) but if this is something you really want to do, you should do it now. Life is too short to be waiting all the time!
