Should I pursue a career in Art?

Well, a "career" in art can mean several things... I mean, there's "fine art" like you see in museums, and "commercial art" like, for example, magazine illustrations and that sort of stuff, and there's also "graphic design," like, for example, designing graphics for the internet and business publications, too, and then, of course, there's also all the other disciplines that are considered "art," too, like sculpture and glass and weaving, etc., etc., etc., so, when you are deciding on whether or not to pursue a career in "art," you really also have to ask yourself what kind of art, too.

That having been said, art careers can be difficult, especially in the fine arts, which is probably even more difficult than pursuing an acting career!

So, why not do both, take the vet classes and some art courses, too, and see which one really grabs you and compels you to follow that path.

Good luck, and the link below is to a webpage about "How To Become An Artist"...

I'm getting so stressed out.

Creating Art is something that I really enjoy doing, but is it just a hobby..?
Or should I actually apply it to my career?
I'm a senior in High School, and I really need to get on top of this.

I was thinking of becoming a Vet tech, but I don't get excited when I think about the classes I would end up taking.

On the other hand, when I think about taking an Art class, I get very excited..

If I were to pursue a career in Art, which career should I actually go for?
I don't really want to try to be a you know, "starving" artist, but what other careers are out there?

Or, should I try to become a vet tech?

Sorry for typing so much, I have a lot on my mind.
Any advice is welcome. ANY.
