should i proceed to write a book, with no book writing experiance?

I'v been having this constant fantasy about a girl who was bred for evil and was stolen as a child and taught to do good..but she is part vamp and part demon..its just feels like it would be looked over..i love it im in love with the story..but its is a cliche' and im lost..should i keep goin? i dont know what im doing..iv never done this before...i cant even keep it in book form im sure. let me know wut you think
