Should I pierce my own lip?

My Mum is so strict. She won't let me have any piercings (except for ear piercings). I asked her for a lip ring and she went spastic. So I reckon I should pierce my own lip..I'm pretty good with pain but my skin is really sensitive...my ear piercing got infected and it hurt like hell. I was going to give myself a tattoo but I'd probably get expelled from school..( It's a private school. D Anyways what do you think? Has anyone done it?
