I am about to get a T-Mobile G2. Even though the 806 MHz processor is very efficient, I still envy those 1GHz processors, especially the ones of the MyTouch HD and the HTC Desire. So, I heard that you can overclock its processor, and I have a few questions:
.) Does this void your warranty on the phone?
.) Is this safe, and will Android receive any "pathogens?"
.) How much extra battery will it use?
.) Can I undo the process?
.) Are there going to be any risks? (For example, high voltage?)
.) I heard a root was temporary. How long will it last me?
.) Is it worth the risks?
.) If it is, how do I do it, and what preparations do I need?
