We have a house that's in a wooded area along with multiple little gardens around the property. Well my 3 year old son developed a hobby of playing with the bugs from the garden. It's just mainly little bugs like ladybugs, worms, beetles, and walking sticks...and he knows the difference between a spider and a regular bug, although he'll play with grand daddy long legs. Anyways, my sister in law claimed the other day that letting him play with insects was "bad parenting"...which I never really considered because he's a 3 year old boy that loves to be outside. What do you think?
Should I or should I not let my son play with garden bugs?
