My inspection sticker has always been expired by a month when I take it in and they always ask, "Have you received any tickets for having an expired sticker?" Luckily I can give an honest no. What happens when someone does have a ticket out and 1) lies and says no or 2) says so? Is there an extra fee, or do they give you extra papers to take to court to get it dismissed, so it's to your advantage to mention it whether you're asked or not?
