Should I let my 10-year-old daughter audition for a competitive dance team?

Once again, this is for Tommy's Mommy on here. Annika is very talented and responsible. She would be in 4th grade but skipped a grade. There is a spring team for ages 10-12 that is willing to give her a kind of scholarship if she does well in auditions. I am also worried that this might cut into my time with darling Tommy-poo. This is a difficult decision, so can you help me?
 
um... i really didn't understand your question but um....... u can always have a different family member take her back and forth to her lessons if you don't have time.
 
Umm i'm confused about the whole tommys mommy thing but i'd let her. I'd want my mom to let me even though im not ten but still.I don't see why not but tell her if it gets in the way of her school work you won't let her do it is what i'd do.
