I recently purchased a 50" Samsung PNC7000 from Best Buy for $1,500. Upon bringing it home i noticed the left side where there was a 7"puncture on the box. After opening it I noticed a 2 small (1 cm) dings on the same side where the puncture was located. I called Best Buy and wanted them to deliver a new one and pick up this one, but since i took it home i would either have to pay again and have them deliver it to me or return this one and get another one; problem is there was only 2 on stock at the time. The mgr said i could get compensated $150 (10%) cash back. What would you do? Keep in mind that I probably would have to wait 2-4 weeks for the tv. Other things that concern me were that 1 screw was missing and that the plastic bag holding them was taped (not sealed), and that there was a small tear in the plastic covering over the tv (screen seems to be scratch free). The picture quality seems to be ok, but i'm not sure what to look for. I'm worried that the box wasn't handled properly in transit or in the stock room and that they tv may not be up to par.
