My 2004 Explorer has about 72,350 miles on it and is starting to have problems. It is under extended warranty until 77K miles. I am thinking about selling it now and getting a new vehicle, and using the cash back incentive to replace the negative equity I have in the truck.
Should I just sell my truck now? Or keep it and hope nothing goes wrong when my warranty expires? I am hoping that I dont have to replace a transmission or something when the truck gets older.... PLEASE HELP

You are coming up on a 5 year old car. You do sound worried about it as well. I think the fact you're worried enough to seek advice is a clear sign to abandon the car while you can, before you're trying to trade-in/sell something with a shot transmission etc past warranty.

Next year you could be spending money on a new car, or parts to keep the old one running. I think you need to look at it that way.
