Should I invent my own musical genre?

I'm in a band (City Of Stitches), and we were originally death metal-ish, but we've started to contemplate using instruments such as trombone, trumpet, saxophone, and piano, hopefully attempting to merge the three awesomest genres of music (Metal, Jazz, and Classical). Would this be classified as something already existent? or should we invent our own musical genre?
 
it could just be a sub-genre of an already-existing genre. for example, the roots are a hip hop band but they throw jazz and rock into the mix. they're just categorized as alternative hip hop
