I left my now ex spouse due to domestic violence and I need help in deciding whether I need a lawyer to file the paperwork or if I should do it myself. I have evidence such as police reports, restraining orders, police photos and court paperwork. I did not file sooner due to finances. I have since remarried and expecting a baby in a few months but should I try and to file myself or use a lawyer?
