Should I have complained?

Took a date to a really nice restaurant. The waiter spilled a bit of sauce onto my shoulder. I was wearing a sleeveless top (similar to my avatar) so it dripped on my skin. But I was mad anyway because it's a very expensive (Hugo Boss) shirt. If it DID have sleeves, it would be ruined. I wanted to tell the manager but my date asked me not to. Should I have?
 
That's unfortunate but it's not a big deal. As long as you and your date had a good time. No sense starting a fight over some spilled sauce - makes you a fool.
