Should I go with a Honda Civic or Honda Accord?

I am 15 years old and will be getting my license in November. I am a responsible teen and cannot decide on which vehicle to pick. I chose Honda because Honda has been through my family and knock on wood, have never had problems with them so they're reliable cars with good gas mileage.
 
When it comes to power and optimal performance between the Accord and Civic, it isn’t close. The Accord is essentially the Civic, but with more power and finer appointments. Accord by far.
