So my mom had me try out for this summer school thing called Innerspark and I got in for voice. I'm wondering whether or not I should go. I know it's a great opportunity and it sounds stupid to pass it up and everything, but hear me out...
So this year I started going to OCHSA, this art school. I was really excited, but then I got there...It was cool for a while, but I missed my friends and since no one lived near each other I never made good new friends. I didn't learn nearly as much about theater as I thought I would, and I got home so late everyday that school became my entire life and I didn't even have time to do an actual show anymore. So come next year I'm going back to my public high school and I was really looking forward to getting to summer so I can just have fun with friends, and also I have an interview with an actual agency so maybe start auditioning professionally!! it sounded like a good plan...
but Innerspark is right in the middle of my summer and I'm wondering if it'll be like a summer version of OCHSA...I'll also miss time to be in an actual show, which I think I might rather do...
I want to have the best summer ever, but I really have no idea what will make me happy. can someone give me their opinion? I'm bad with decisions. If you've been to innerspark before, it'd be really awesome to hear your opinion especially.
