Yesterday I got pulled over for going 40 on a 25mph road. My friend needed me to pick her up immediately, she was nearly crying over the phone, so I tried to hurry up. The officer gave me a careless driving ticket and said I should go to court and plead not guilty to have points removed. My friend agreed to pay for the ticket and go to court with me to explain everything. However, if we loose the case we will have to pay the ticket and a court fee. So should I pay for the ticket now, or try to plead not guilty?
