Should I go on the trip to space camp in america?

My school has a trip to this astronaught (not sure how to spell) training camp and I kind of want to go. But, no-one i know is going its all these quite weird kids who ive never really talked to before. My friends keep advising me not to go because they say its nerdy and wont be much fun. Its just that ive always wanted to go to america and its in Alabama and we get to travel round the area as well! But, its quite a lot of money and although my mum says she can afford it i dont think she really can.... any help would be great! xx
 
I definitely think you should go. You'll have a very good time, get to meet some nice people, and some very helpful camp instructors. Plus you'll riding the simulators, and other training devices. It sounds like space camp is a lot of fun for you. You could get your mother to pay for it for you.
 
hecks yes!! do it while you're still young enough to! that is so kick butt! screw the weirdos and your downer friends...go be an astronaut (sort of) and have an awesome time you can brag about forever!!

You are a good kid to be concerned that paying for the trip might be a hardship for your mother. Talk to her about it seriously so if you decide to go on the trip you won't feel guilty and can concentrate on having a good time while learning a few things.
