My girlfriend and her two friends were all backpacking guides in college, and the four of us went a couple weeks ago - it was my first trip. It was a little bit humiliating - she obviously knows way more about it than I do, which is embarrasing to begin with, and to finish the trail on time, she had to carry my pack (both of our packs) for a while. They want me to come again next weekend, but I'm hesitant. Should I go?
