Should I get this Toyota Solara?

I am looking at this Toyota Solara convertible. It has 137,175 miles on it, and i was wondering if i shouldn't buy it because of how many miles it has. is that to many miles? or is it ok?

P.S. it is $12,000, I'm not sure how long I plan to own it, maybe 5-10 years. and I am 5 ft 3
 
How much is it? How long do you plan to own it? And how tall are you?

I ask the last question because one of my bosses owns one of these cars. I'm a regular 5' 10" tall and have trouble getting into and out of the car. The roof line is very short for a car of that size. So this is something you might want to consider.
 
There's no way to say since you don't have the year of the car stated. I have a 1999 Toyota Solara and I have loved it for over 10 years. But personally, I would not pay $12,000 for any car with 137,175 miles on it. A brand new Corolla goes for around $18,000 with 0 miles on it new out of the lot. Since convertible Solaras did not come out until the end of the Solara run, your car must be much newer than mine, I'm thinking like 2007 or 2008? Even if it were a 2004, that would make it 4 years old and it would have averaged almost 35,000 per year..pretty much driving. I would say no, do not buy it for that price, it is far too high.Comparatively, my 1999 Solara..loaded, leather and the works with only 37,000 miles would get me no more than $7000 from a dealer in trade..and maybe not that much...by the way, Solara's have been discontinued by toyota, and 2008 was the last year for them. The discontinuation of any model often depreciates its asking price. Make sure the dealer isn't taking you, because all of them will certainly try. That's a lot of milage for a car you hope to keep for 5 or 10 years. Also I am 5 foot 11 inches tall and have no problen getting in and out of it. The roof is high and the doors are wide and long because it is a 2 door coup.
