Should I get the yamaha ttr 125 or the Honda cr250?

if you plan o riding motocross(jumps) then go for the cr250. thats what its made for. TTR125 is a trail bike and much lower seat i beleieve the cr250 seat height is around 35 inches. Also personally i would by a four stroke. much more reliable and longer laster. But more expensive to repair. Alos it all depends if your gonna beat the hell outta the bike. And most 2 strokes you have to mix the oil in with the fuel, which is more of a pain in the ass. Hope this helps Happy riding
 
if i was you mate id buy a 4 stroke i have just brought a suzuki dr 125 not very fast but its best to start getting experience for about 3-5 months then get a bigger bike.2 strokes cost alot of money to run especially aprillia rs 125 engine rebuilds all the time
 
I am a first time rider looking for a nice bike. I want a bike that I can learn on but later on when I get more experience I want it to be able to have some zip in it. I don't know whether to get a 2 stroke or a 4 stroke either. I've heard the 2 stroke are the better ones to be on. give me some advice on which one I should get... thanks!!!
 
No 2 strokes are not better in any circumstance. They make horrible beginner bikes, they make horrible trail bikes (sans the KTM's made specifically for this) and they cannot compete with 4 strokes on the track. In fact no one even races 2 strokes anymore except for the mini class kids. No first time rider should ever buy a 2 stroke, much less a CR250, that's insane.
