inside for 09 corolla owners? Which trim is better? My friends said the XRS is more fun to drive but that the S is more fuel efficient. I have an SUV so anything would be more fuel efficient...I know one comes with 4 spd automatic and the other witha 5spd and they pretty much look the same so which one is actually the better model?

I also have a question for any of the 2009 corolla owners...On the left hand side of the drivers seat...behind the steering wheel over close to the door and the window controlls...is there a small cubby that drops down like in past models or did they do away with that? I know it has a dual glove box but I was wondering if they kept the little drop box over to the left of the drivers side just above where the hood of car popper button thing was...

Thanks everyone!

To answer your mini-cubby question - they do still have a little mini coin glove box on the left knee area of the driver.

As for the S vs XRS... I gotta admit, the S adds NO fun to the corolla, only looks. The meager engine in the stock corolla's is so balls slow, it's almost dangerous. 0-60 in what feels like an eternity. My friend owns one, and I rented one for 3 weeks. If I were to buy a corolla, I would DEFINITELY go for the XRS, not only for the power, but it's the only corolla that is offered with leather seats and 17" alloys. So right there, you have a winner. The S looks nice, probably even is nicer than the normal corolla, but without the engine upgrade I would consider it a poser-car.

XRS - spend the extra $2,000!! It'll be well worth it, and you'll get respect for it too!
