Should I get the Palm Pre or a Blackberry?

Ok, so I'm trying to decide whether to get a Palm Pre or Blackberry.

The plan for the palm pre would be: 150 Locals minutes, 500mb Data transfer (What does this data transfer even include), unlimited text.

The Blackberry plan would be: 150minutes, Unlimited Facebook®, Twitter, MySpace® and instant messaging, unlimited text. If I get a blackberry, which one should i get?
Both of these plans I'm getting are from Bell because I can end my previous contract a few months early if i start a new plan with them.
So several questions about both phones:

1)general pro's and Con's

2) The app stores... I've been looking up and it seems that the Palm Pre doesn't have any apps at all...

3)Instant messaging? Does the palm pre even have facebook and msn chat?

4)How do i get charged for the build in GPS?

5) What can I do with 500mb data? (how much can I do)

So if anyone could give me suggestions on which to get or answer any of my questions, that'd be great. Or, if you can find a better deal or if you have suggestions on a plan from bell.ca just let me know.

500mb data~not much,a bit surfing but that's it
 
i have a palm pre- have had it for months

1) pro- you dont need to buy ringtones, just hook up your phone to your computer, add the music to your phone, set as ringer... you can have different aps running all at once. the camera takes AWESOME pictures- very clear... the palm pre takes better pictures than my actual c amera does. touch screen is fun!
i actually have never had a con w my palm pre... it froze maybe one time... overall i looove the phone
i traded the blackberry in for the palm- love it.

2) there are TONS of apps, anything from restaurant apps to the sims and other games.. lots of free apps too and they add more constantly

3) i use facebook on my palm, as well as yahoo instant messenger

4) i dont know haha

5) i have about 400 pictures, and about 20 songs on my phone with room for more, oh and i have about 20 apps too
