Should I get the iPhone 4?

I was planning on upgrading my iPhone 3gs to the iPhone 4. I recently heard that the iPhone 4 has problems receiving cellular/WIFI signals. I was wondering if this would affect the performance of the iPhone. I use my iPhone almost everyday. Any opinions/suggestions would be welcome. Thanks!
