I got the Ascend after researching several pay as you go, prepaid etc...i already had the rumor touch and had also had the messager II through cricket. I decided on the Ascend after comparisons to the Zio. The Ascend has been great. The zio only has android 1.6 so it lacks a lot. The ascend will be updated in the first part of this year to Android 2.2, it is now 2.1. I have had this phone since November and I still have fun finding apps for it every day.I watch movies and can download content from youtube.I have google skymap and gps and so many games on my 8gb card that I am never bored. When they send it to you its so nicely packaged, you just know you are getting something great inside! It comes with a 2gb card but i bought the 8gb so I could have movies on there for my kids. It can go up to a 32GB, it all in what you want. There is no flash on the 3,2m camera, but it still takes nice video and pics in well lit areas or outside.I think for the price you will be happy.You can also look online and search for coupon codes.my friend just got 20 dollars off on top of the online store discount at Cricket. I did the same thing when I got mine. Plus free shipping is included.online. If you dont like it, send it back. i believe you have 30 days to evaluate.hope this helped.
