First off i would like to say im with Boost Mobile.not a worker just a customer lol.

Im pretty new to this Cell Phone stuff, had the i455 for about 7 days now.

The phone i have right now is the Motorola i455. Cost was around $70 brand new.

Hopefully the place i got the i455 from has the E816.

My question is,is the E816 a step up from the i455? Is it alot better? i mean will i get more features then i have now?

How is the Customer Service? Are they cool or rude like "SOME" of the techs on Boost Mobile? Sometimes i think there going to come thru the phone to choke me lol. So you know im always nice to them so i cant see why SOME of them are mean

How is the reception? With the phone i have right now it seems great even with the antenna down and it still shows with all bars. I did check to see if my area is Covered by Amp'ed Mobile and it is.

How is the Battery Life?

I have a game on the i455 i brought called Ragnarok Mobile Mage it is Java, will it work with the E816 if i have the people at the store transfer it over? I did check on Amp'ed mobile to see if they had the same game and they did.

Will i beable to keep my number or will i have to change it? (I have a feeling i might have to cause of the different carrier.)

Does Amp'ed Mobile have Roll Over Minutes?

Are incoming text messages free? Like Boost Mobile?

I was reading reviews about the phone and it seems there is ALOT of "good" reviews about it but 2 things did catch my eye, 1)Bluetooth is messed up on it and 2)the Walkie-Talkie service is not available yet but the phone does have Walkie Talkie. So has the BlueTooth and Walkie-Talkie problems been fixed yet?

The reason im thinking on changeing over is becasue the pay as you go plan seems ALOT better. Plus there other plans seem way better too. From what i have been reading in the Amp'ed boards on this site it seems that the people at Amp'ed are alot friendlier.

I brought the i455 on a impulse buy, (shame on me ) yes i know i should of done some research first lol. This time around though i did reasearch and the E816 seems a better/cooler phone and the company seems good too. I just would like your guys advice from your experiances.

The phone i really want some day is a Blackberry but there way outa my price range right now lol.

What i am looking for in a phone is:

No higher than $149 if possable.
Camera
GPS
Video Camera to take video's
Bluetooth
Walkie-Talkie
Cheap plans but w/alot more minutes than Boost Mobile
Long Battery Life
Rollover Minutes

Well thats it for now, thank you all for the help inadvance.

If you are leaving your current carrier, you need to pick the new carrier first. Check coverage maps, talk to friends, family, coworkers about which one they have. Look at where you will use the phone - where you live, work, travel, etc. When you decide on the carrier, then pick the phone. You can pick the absolute best one but if you have no service, all you have is a paperweight. And keep in mind that if you pick a phone that is not branded for your carrier then you will have to unlock it before you can use it and that adds cost as well (for GSM phines only - can't unlock CDMA phones, they are carrier specific).

i455 has no camera, obviously no video camera, no BT, no MP3 player. I think the HollyWood is much better.

If you call Amp'd Mobile Customer Care, be ready to stay on hold for a LONG time.

At least here in L.A., Amp'd Mobile reception is WAAAY better than Boost.

Battery Life is longer

The store more than likely won't be able to transfer your game.

You might be able to port, not 100% sure though.

If by that you mean that they add on, then yes.

No.

Bluetooth works fine on my side. Also, Walkie-Talkie only works for Amp'd To Amp'd customers.

What i meant by Roll Over Minutes is for example if i had 200 minutes one month and didnt use all of the minutes will i be able to keep them the next month?

I am pretty sure that the only provider to have true rollover minutes is Cingular post paid, not pre paid. The rollover minutes do expire in 1 year. For example, lets say you accrue 100 minutes per month, starting Jan 07. In Jan 08, you will lose 100 rollover minutes.

Its what i am planning on.

I do really hope the place i got the i455 has the E816,they did say i could trade in the i455 and just pay the difference for the i855. Hope they let me trade for the E816 instead.
