Should I get Photoshop CS 4 or VMWare Fusion?

I'm getting a MacBook pretty soon, and since I'm a graphic design student I need to install Adobe Creative Suite on my mac. I already have a copy of CS 3, but it's for PC. Should I just get a VMWare Fusion so it can run Windows and then install my CS 3 there? Or should I just go all out and get a CS 4 for mac?

I think you should go all out and get **CS5** for mac. If all you're going to use VMware for is photoshop then I say definitely get a version that will run directly on the mac and not emulated in windows. Besides, emulating Photoshop at all isn't a good idea because of the type of program it is. Photoshop can be a drain on your resources, especially when you're doing some serious editing, so to add the strain of running it virtually inside Windows running on a Mac wouldn't give desirable results.

I would wait for CS5 to come out! Looks really cool!

VMWare isn't that great, I have it for AutoCad and it's a little laggy. Especially with resource intensive programs such as Photoshop.
