Should I get my catholic confirmation?

I'm 15 years old. I got baptized and I had my communion. Right after first communion I stopped going to church. My dad wants me to get my confirmation, but I feel I don't have a full understanding of the religion and I'm scared to go back.

If I go to get my confirmation. Do I take classes? Do I go to church? What other things do you have to do? Is there a ceremony? And if so what do you do at the ceremony? Also, I believe in evolution, is this against the religion?

If I don't make my confirmation. Am I not catholic? Am I a bad person for not doing so? Is it true you can't get married in a church?

I'm really not sure what to do. I hope one of you can give me a little help.

Also one more thing, because my parents are divorced. I live with my dad. So, I've always looked up to many people in my life. Like teachers or any other adult who leads a good example in my life. I've looked up to them even more than I have god. I never once prayed to god for anything, because I always thought I had to work for things in order to get them done. I thought I'd just add this bit of information just in case.

Thank You for the answers!
