SHould i Get AT&T On Iphone

i was thinking of getting an iphone today as i do have 800 dollars but i was hezitant to know if at&t was a good provider etc,

so i just would like to know if i should go with at&t or some other provider like vodaphone for example...

It depends on where you will be using the phone. Some areas are great, some are not so great.
Check out the AT&T service area map and see if it shows strong in the areas where you will be using it most.
 
I recently purchased the iPhone from AT&T. I used to be with verizon for 8 years and got tired of all the extra charges on the bills. I went and looked at the iPhone 3gs and was sold instantly.
First off the phone is amazing, it works really well, takes great pics for a 3mp camera, the touchscreen is excellent and the graphics on the screen are fabulous.

Now I did have one problem with the phone and that was mms messaging. ( pic and vid) I could not send or recieve mms messages from from my wifes verizon phone. After calling in every other day and explaining to them that I only had the phone for 3 weeks and this was unacceptable, AT&T customer service and their techs were great. They eventually fixed my mms problem and then credited my account $135.00. So as for right now my 2nd month is already paid for plus I still have some credits left to cover 3/4 the next bill in January.

I have to be honest with you and be fair Now, Verizon's customer is pretty good, but between the 2 I would give the advantage to AT&T. Hope this helps and if you do get the iPhone I promise you, you will not be sorry.

First I do not think you have a choice if you want an iPhone because AT&T is the only provider still. Check out the company web site and see if you have good coverage and have access to the 3G network. Edge is okay, but without the 3G things will get real slow for you.
