Should i get an xbox or a ps3, more details inside?

okaay, im a big fan of jak and daxter, I have a ps2, i really want an xbox 360, but im afraid if another game comes out for ps3 and not ps2
Question:
if a 4th game comes out, will it be for ps3 and ps2?
