Should I get a T-Mobile MyTouch 3G and an iPod touch?

I'm considering getting the MyTouch 3G because right now I have the sidekick, but because of all of the problems I am getting a new phone. I was also going to get the iPod touch soon. I was just wondering should I get both since I've heard that they are pretty similar.

The iPod Touch isn't a cell phone. An iPhone is a cell phone. Comparing an iPhone to a MyTouch 3G however, I would choose a MyTouch 3G. T-Mobile's network isn't nearly as congested as AT&T's, so you'll get faster data speeds. Plus, the MyTouch 3G is cheaper to own as T-Mobile's bundled plans are cheaper than AT&T's. You can get unlimited texting, data transfer, and talk for $80/month. You'd be paying well over $100/mo on AT&T.
