should i get a loan for a motorcycle??plz help!?

hey.im looking to buy a motorcycle. the price is $5000. i hear people telling me not to, and some to go for it. im confused. will i be owing more than what i got in the end??....i need advice on how to do this thing if i should do it at all. i appreciate any help! =D
 
I wouldn't. Two reasons:
1. Depending on the interest rate charged, the real cost in the end could be $7000, perhaps more.
2. If you take out a loan over say 4 or 5 years, at the end of that time you have a much older motorcycle that will be worth only a fraction of what you have paid. And if you were to sell it then, you'd make a whopping loss.
 
I bought mine, it was 7500 otd I financed all of it.

I got a 12% but at the time I thought that was good. This was 3 years ago.

Its up to you. Can you make the payments ?? and how often are you going to be using the bike.

Does not matter what you buy if you finance it you will Always owe more in the end. Unless you get 0% but good luck on that these days.

I just went to by a care I have a 680 fico and was turned down. By GM they wanted me to put down 5000 yea right.
 
No don't...think about the situation the US economy is in. It is because of debt that we are where we are (100% of home foreclosures is because of debt). The risk isn't worth it, since you don't know what the future holds for you.
 
Well if u r really in Bad condition and u dont have money .
Last week my friend also gone through the same condition he was searching for "Bad credit loan"
while searching on YAhooo! , Google or Msn i dont exactly know he found a site there he got about 12 lender links which are Ready to issue loan for 15 years even with bad credit .
