Well, you don't have to get an atty but have you looked at all the normal requirements for parenting plans?
For example, you really can't ask for claiming the child every year, especially if the non-custodial parent is paying more than 50% of the child's income.
Standard visitation is every other weekend, every other holiday, Wed's for dinner, unlimited phone calls, rotate child's birthday, you each get the child for your birthday and mothers/fathers days...also what about summer vacation and moving out of the area?
Plus, you should have an atty look at the papers...not only does the non-custodial have to pay child support but a certain percent of daycare, med bills, dentist, etc ABOVE child support. You need to check state laws to see how long child support is paid...most states are 18, but I live in Nebraska and it is 19...also, in some states it will say that the non-custodial parent has to pay 50% of college tuition, even after 18 years old......
Best to get an atty to review this and make sure all your rights as a custodial parent are in place.
